The company is called Yes To, Inc. One of our three sub-brands is Yes To Carrots - a line made for normal to dry skin and hair.

How long has Yes To been in Business?
The brand Yes To Carrots was originally developed at the end of 2005. Yes To Inc was incorporated in the USA in 2006. Sister brands Yes To Cucumbers and Yes To Tomatoes followed soon after.
What is the Seed Fund?
The Yes To Carrots™ Seed Fund, a U.S. 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is on a mission to make a difference in people's lives by providing under-served communities with the resources to develop and sustain an organic food source and access to healthy nutrition.

Together with our partner organizations, the Yes To Carrots™ Seed Fund assists these communities by providing donations to help with seeds, plants, equipment, irrigation support and technical know-how.

What are parabens?  
Parabens are a class of preservatives found in many cosmetic products. Although some parabens are found in nature, most parabens are synthetically derived. Yes To strives to create products with as many natural ingredients as possible, and therefore, we choose to use preservatives other than parabens.
Are all Yes To products all natural?
We strive to create Yes To products with as high a natural ingredient content as possible. You can review each products' description and the Ingredients List to determine the mix of natural, organic and synthetic ingredients. Our Yes To Carrots Baby line is 100% natural.
What's the difference between all-natural and organic?
A product labeled 'natural' has not been chemically altered from its original state, and nothing as been removed or added. Our natural products are derived from natural plants or animal sources. A product labeled "organic" has been manufactured, produced and distributed through organic means, which are defined by specific guidelines set forth by the FDA.
Are all your products organic? Are they all USDA Certified?
We strive to create Yes To products with as high a natural and organic ingredient content as possible. You can review each products' description and the Ingredients List to determine the mix of natural, organic and synthetic ingredients. Our Yes To Baby Carrots line is 100% natural. Our Yes To Carrots Lip Butters are USDA certified organic. Our Yes To Carrots Lip Tints and Lip Glosses are NPA Certified.
Are your products non-comedogenic?
The Yes To Cucumber Facial Towelettes are non-comedogenic. All other products are not certified non-comedogenic.
Are Yes To products hypoallergenic?
Currently our products have not been certified as hypo-allergenic.
What products do you recommend for extra dry skin? Oily skin? Normal skin?
Yes To Carrots products are formulated for normal-to-dry skin and hair types. Yes To Cucumbers are formulated for sensitive skin types and color-treated hair. What products do you recommend for roseca or eczema?
While none of our products are specifically formulated to help roseca or eczema, our Yes To Cucumbers line is created for Sensitive Skin Types.
Do Yes To products have an expiration date? Is the date in European or US format?
All Yes To products {with the exception of SPF} have an expiration date due to the high level of natural and organic ingredients. The date is in European Format of day/month/year. Yes To SPF products have an expiration date in US Format of month/day/year.
Where can I find the expiration date for my product?
The expiration date can be found either on the bottom of the product, or on the back label.
How long will my product stay fresh once opened?
Each product has an icon on (which looks like a small jar) with the number of months the product will remain fresh once opened.
What is the shelf life of the Baby Carrots products?
Three years. Plenty of time for you little one to be fresh and nourished by Yes To Baby products.
Do I need to refrigerate my products?
Eventhough the Yes To products have a high percentage of natural contents, there is no need to refrigerate the products. A little tip, though: Keep your Yes To Cucumbers Soothing Eye Gel in the fridge for the ultimate de-puffing and cooling experience.
Do you test on animals and do your products contain animal-derived ingredients?
Yes To is a cruelty-free company and we NEVER test on animals. We love the little creatures!Something we are very proud of is the PETA2 endorsement of our hair and skin care products.
What is the youngest age that you recommend using your products?
We recommend our Yes To Baby Carrots line for your little ones from birth to toddler.
Are Yes To products safe for pets?
While our products are not made for animal use, customers have told us they work beautifully when bathing their pets. We suggest discussing this with you vet prior to use.
Do you have a men's line?
All of our products are formulated for both men and women. It's all about finding your personal recipe. Review our Yes To Brands section to help you determine the best mix for you.
Do you offer any of your products in larger sizes?
We currently do not have any plans to create your fave Yes To products in larger sizes. However, we are continually making additions to our lines, so stay tuned, we may make larger sizes in the future.

What products are discontinued?
The Yes To Carrots Body Mist is no longer available. The Yes To Carrots Hand and Nail Spa, Shower Essential Travel Kit, and the Body Essentials Travel Kit will no longer be produced. They are, however, still available at www.yestocarrots.com.
Where are Yes To products made?
Yes To products are manufactured in both Israel and the United States.
How can I be a product tester for Yes To?
We do not currently test products on customers. We have product testing panels while in product development. If testers are needed, we will reach out to the community requesting testers.
How can I get a product sample?
We include product samples with the purchase of items on yestocarrots.com when available. We do not offer product samples, but suggest purchasing some of our trial size items if you are interested in trying a smaller size prior to purchasing a full size product. We carry travel sizes for a very limited set of products, but are always interested in hearing form our customers as to what other items they would like to see in the future. Travel sizes are currently available at select Target retail locations and will soon be available at www.yestocarrots.com.
I'm a journalist/blogger doing a story.  Who can I contact for info/samples?
We would love to be able to provide giveaways and samples to all the amazing bloggers, but as I’m sure you can understand, we receive a lot of solicitations and unfortunately we have had to put a hold on the program. We do not expect this to be long-term and will be happy to keep your name on file for when the blogger sample/giveaway program resumes.As a general rule, we look for blogs that have more than 30 postings over the course of 6 months. How are Yes To products different from other "natural" products like those found in other personal care lines?
Yes To products contain a unique elixir of organic fruits and vegetables and Dead Sea minerals. The fruits and vegetables are rich in vitamins and antioxidants while the Dead Sea minerals lock these valuable ingredients into your skin.
What do the symbols on the packaging mean?
There are four logos on the Yes To products. 1) A small jar signifying the number of months you can use the product after open. 2) The recycle logo. 3) The Cruelty-Free logo, indicating that Yes To does not test ANY products on animals. 4) Yes To Seed Fund logo, indicating a portion of all sales are donated to the Yes To Seed Fund.
Can I use the Yes To Baby Carrots Bubble Bath?
Of course! We do....and it's a great excuse to kick back, relax, and soak up the 100% natural love.
Yes To Baby Carrots says for Infants and Toddlers. What age range is that?
Due to the 100% Natural ingredients in the Yes To Baby Carrots products, you may start using them on your newborn. We also know many adults that use the Yes To Baby Carrots line.
Can I use the Yes To Baby Carrots suncreen?
By all means. Our Baby Carrots line is completely 'adult-friendly,' and this sunscreen will work on adults. We also have three great SPF products formulated for adults that we encourage you to try!
Are the Baby Carrots products clinically tested?
Yes. Yes To had several types of tests performed on these products, as we know how critical it is for parents to trust products they use on their little ones. We performed and passed the following tests:
1. Pediatric In-Use Dermatological Safety test
2. Hypoallergenic Dermatological Tested (RIPT - 'Repeat Insult Patch Testing')
3. Tear-Free
4. Sun Protection Factor (SPF)
5. Repeat Microbial Safety Challenge tests

Do Yes To products contain gluten and/or soy?
A few Yes To products contain gluten and soy. Our hair conditioners contain gluten, and the Vitamin E inour lip butters is soy-derived. Please note: All items are produced in the same facility, thus we cannot guarantee them to be 100% soy and gluten-free.
Do any of your products contain fragrance? If so, what is it made of?
Yes To's fragrance is a mix of essential oils, natural aromatic chemicals and other synthetic ingredients that are approved by the NPA. The synthetic ingredients are used when there are no natural alternatives to create the current scent.
Are your products safe for use by pregnant women?
While we work to have a very high level of natural and organic ingredients, we suggest you discuss the use of our products, or any products, with your doctor during pregnancy.
I am a Vegan. What products can I use?
The only animal-produced or derived products in the Yes To lines are beeswax and honey. These ingredients are derived naturally from bees. Products in the Yes To. line which contain either beeswax or honey are our Lip Butters, tints, and glosses (Beeswax), Yes To Carrots Body Moisturizing Lotion (Honey), Yes To Carrots Eye and Face Makeup Remover (Honey Extract), Yes To Carrots Gentle Exfoliating Facial Cleanser (Honey Extract), and the Yes To Carrots Carrot Rich Body Scrub (Honey Extract).
I am allergic to Carrots/Tomatoes/Cucumbers, can I still use your products?
We cannot guarantee that the use of carrots, tomatoes and cucumbers will not cause an allergic reaction. We suggest you consult with your doctor prior to using our products.
Where are your synthetic ingredients derived from?
Among our synthetic ingredients are preservatives such as potassium sorbate and benzyl alcohol. Although Most potassium sorbate is made synthetically, potassium sorbate is a naturally occurring unsaturated fatty acid and is completely safe with regard to health, and has the lowest allergenic potential of all food reservatives. Benzyl Alcohol is derived from Benzoic Acid, which is a naturally occuring acid found in plants and some fruits.
I may have had a reaction to one of your products. What do I do?
Stop using the product and call your medical professional. Please contact us at 1-888-92YESTO to inform us of the product you were using and the reaction that occurred.
I am chemically sensitive. What are the pH values of your products?
The pH of our products fall withinthe range of 6-7, a very safe and natural range of use.
Do any Yes To Products contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS ) and Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES)?
None of the current formulas contain SLS or SLES
Does Yes To Carrots™ contain phthalates?
No! We are so used to saying "Yes," but are happy to say there are NO phthalates in our products.
Does Yes To Carrots™ contain animal ingredients?
The Yes To product families do not contain animal ingredients with the exception of Honey Extract and Beeswax. Both of these ingredients are derived naturally from bees.
Do the products really contain carrots, cucumbers and tomatoes?
Yes,our products actually contain carrot juice, cucumber extract, and tomato extract among other vegatables and fruits. We may even help you get in your 5 veggies a day!
Will Yes To Carrots products make my skin turn orange?
No, they will not.
Will Yes To hair care products adversely affect my color treated hair?
We suggest using our Yes To Cucumbers hair care line. It is formulated especially for color-treated hair, and should not affect your gorgeous locks!
Are Yes To Baby Carrots products 100% natural?
Yes! We are happy to say that our line, made for new, fresh baby skin, is 100% natural.
My baby seems to have had a reaction to a Yes To Baby Carrots product. What should I do?
Please stop using the product and call your medical professional.
What is Isopropyl Myristate? What are the sources of this ingredient? Is it natural?
Isopropyl Myristate 95% NF/EP (National Formulary/European Pharmacopeia) is derived from natural vegetable oil. This ingredient is 'kosher certified' and used in kosher foods (certification available).
What is Phenoxyethanol? Is this an ethoxylated ingredient? Do any of the Baby Carrots products have ethoxylated ingredients? If so, how does Yes To remove the dioxan 1,4 from these ingredients?
No, none of the Baby Carrots ingredients are ethoxylated.

Phenoxyethanol is a form of natural alcohol and is derived from either Rose Oil or Green Tea; in this case we use Phenoxyethanol derived from Green Tea. This ingredient has nothing to do with the ethoxylation process, and therefore does not involve any stripping processes.

The role of Phenoxyethanol in our products is to prevent and retard microbial growth, and thus protect our products from spoilage.
What is Citric Acid? Is this natural?
Citric acid exists in a variety of fruits and vegetables, most notably citrus fruits. This ingredient is sourced primarily from lemons and limes, and is 100% natural.
What is Retinyl Palmitate? How does Yes To source this ingredient, and is it natural?
Retinyl Palmitate is produced from Retinol (Vitamin A) and is sometimes referred to as Vitamin A Palmitate. The precursors of Retinyl Palmitate are: (a) beta-carotene e.g. carrots (b) Palm Oil.

Yes To extracts Retinyl Palmitate by crushing the carrots and then extracting the ingredient using heat.
Are the Baby Carrots products Gluten Free?
Yes. All five of the Baby Carrots products are gluten free.
What is Tocopheryl Acetate? Where does this ingredient come from?
Tocopherol, a fat-soluble vitamin, is found in vegetable fats and oils, dairy products, meat, eggs, cereals, nuts, and leafy green and yellow vegetables. It is usually present in a form as alpha-, beta-, gamma-, and delta- Tocopherol. The alpha form has the same biological activity as vitamin E. Tocopherols can be produced from vegetable oils or can be synthesized.

Tocopherol Acetate is the ingredient used in Yes To products, and is derived from the etherification of Tocopherol with acetic acid. This ingredient is also frequently the source of vitamin E in dietary supplements.
Is Glycerin vegetable based?
The glycerin used in our products is sourced from vegetable fats and oils.
What preservatives are used in Yes To Baby Carrots products?
Yes To Baby Carrots contains two preservatives, Potassium Sorbate and Sodium Benzoate. We are happy to say that these are paraben-free preservatives.
What ingredients in the Bubble Bath are actually 'cleansing' agents? How are these ingredients sourced?
The cleansing agents we use in the Baby Carrots 'Naturally Cleansing Bubble Bath' are Lauryl Glucoside (derived from corn), Decyl Glucoside (derived from corn), and Coco-Sulfate (derived from coconut).
What is the Fragrance used in Baby Carrots? How is it sourced, and is it 100% natural?
Yes To Baby Carrots products are formulated with 100% natural fragrance. The fragrance is made up of the following all-natural components, with the ingredient source and/or process as noted:
· Amyris Oil: Isolation from Amyris Tree
· Guaiacwood Oil: Isolation from Palo Santo Tree
· Natural Allyl Caproate: Reaction of Natural Caproic Acid from cheese with alcohol
· Natural Amyl Cinnamic Aldehyde: Natural Benzaldehyde reaction with Natural Aldehyde
· Natural Aldehyde C-14: Reaction from Natural Anise Oil
· Natural Anisic Aldehyde: Reaction by Thermal degradation of Castor Oil with cyclization
· Natural Benzyl Acetate: Natural Benzaldehyde reacted with vinegar
· Natural Cis-3-Hexenol: Isolation from Peppermint Oil
· Ho Wood Oil: Isolation from Ho Wood
· Natural Melon Aldehyde: Condensation of natural Isobutyraldehyde from cheese
· Natural Phenyl Ethyl Alcohol: Isolated form Natural Geranium or Rose Oil
· Natural Triethyl Citrate: Reaction from Natural Citric Acid (from Citrus) combined with Grain Alcohol
· Natural Vanilli: Isolation from Clove

Are the packaging materials used to ship my purchase eco-friendly?
YES! We are proud to say that all our purchases are shipping in brown corrugate boxes, which are recyclable. Any items that require a little extra padding inside are packed with eco-friendly fillers that are bio-degradable. And, of course, your shipping invoice is also printed on recyclable paper. We do suggest you keep your invoice in case you need to return your purchase.
